Ashley' work

  During the review, Bruno said the model don't have the quality like drawings, and cannot show story line clearly. So in this model （1：500），I used three different ways to represent these house, and pick a spot where all the elements (fields, houses, road,bridge) included. 

 Three phases: adapt, control, readapt.

changed some details and use texture in the fields, adapted lighting and contrast About the meanings of glow/shadow/texture/... : I tried to differentiate each element, like shadow of the road is to show roads have certain thickness, and the main road is actually a long bridge, shadow can show the feeling of suspend. Use emboss on houses is trying to represent that it's 3D, heigher than surrounding fields, rivers etc. The reason why fields have different color, not just for aesthetic aspect, but also show that these fields belong to different people, are incomplete and incoherent, non-mechanical. The proper word to describe can be 'broken'. I want to show this so I drew small pieces, and the gray parts are actually construction lands, which I assume were abandoned fields.
