story of first visit to wetland---Sanyang Wetland

(At this time, we still have Daozhang to arrange our story)

story of midterm research:

In Zhangli Village, the interaction between natural forces and human intervention is intricate.
Rivers, rice paddies, and sidewalks were shaped by both environmental factors and human action.
This constant interplay between nature's influence on humans and human impact on the environment underscores the village's journey.
The destruction and it reconstruction in the village symbolize the concept of fluidity. Like different points along a river's course, preserved structures from various eras exist. These structures represent tributaries flowing from the river of time into the present. Zhangli Village, with its complex interplay between natural and human factors, serves as a microcosm of the evolving relationship between human settlement and nature.
At the same time, there exists a direct correlation between the fluidity of rivers and the three generations of Zhangli Village. The evolution of this village did not transpire instantaneously; instead, it unfolded gradually, much like a river's flow from upstream to downstream over time. During this journey, we can consistently observe elements from earlier phases being preserved downstream. While readaptation has surfaced in certain areas, a substantial portion of the village remains in a controlled stage of its human-land relationship. This coexistence of different generational aspects mirror the concept of fluidity, where the past and the present harmoniously coexist, each contributing to the village's ever-evolving narrative.

Our group chose Qidu Island as our wetland to discover. It is an island near downtown Wenzhou, connected outside by two Long bridges. this location made it develop I also keep the quietness of some rural areas. Zhangli Village is a great example of Modernity and tranquility coexist. During visiting this village, We find traces of time in buildings and landscapes. Then gradually some vague concepts formed, destruction and reconstruction, fluidity, and the evolution of the relationship between man and nature. we use collages to show our understanding and concept. collect different types of buildings in the village to show the evolution. based on what we learned, each of us came out with different ideas and designed different teahouses based on what we were interested in. For my project, I designed a long pathway across the field, using tea houses as Starting points, leaving people walking inside the field, close to the River, and trees, feeling the quietness of Zhang Li village, and having a walk without being disturbed by cars or other vehicles. this is the reason why my project is named Senitea Stroll. this teahouse and stroll is aimed at decreasing the problem that cars take up space for people to walk. The village has scenery worth walking slowly to appreciate, but the road exits can not provide a peaceful and safe walking experience. The two teahouses were designed at the edge of the field to be connected to the road and are lightweight structures, thus reducing the impact on the field. It can be seen from the drawing that a teahouse is divided into three areas, including the functional area walking area, and the tea-drinking area. The three areas do not disturb each other and meet the different needs of different people. People who drink tea can go to the tea room in the functional area to get hot water, and people who want to walk can choose not to stop, directly to the depth of the field and the river.
